This trip give you a wonderful experience within only one day to learn about Vietnam War. We have chance to understand more about the tragic part of Vietnam History with the visit of the My Lai monument. Within only one-day tour out of Hoi an you will collect overview about this land from ancient time to modern history of Vietnam. All of them will be exposed by visiting and the American war’s remnants of My Lai’s massacre. This site was built in memory of the civilians who were killed during the American War. It is located on the land where the American troops cruelly massacred the local people on the morning of 16 March 1968.
8:00am Departures from hotel, at around 2,5 hour driving we reach to My Lai massacre. We spend an hour there to see the complex of Massacre with Monument, The House of Evidence where documents, photos, and objects which testify to the massacre such as shirts, a pair of sandal of a killed child, all kinds of cups and plates, cookers and pans holed by cartridge, and wooden bells used for reciting prayers. All of them stir deep feelings in the visitors. After that we drive to My Tra riverbank of Quang Ngai city for our lunch in the local restaurant. In the afternoon we heading back to Hoi An. Tour ends at around 4:00pm.
